Cope$ Power Rankings: 10/8

These rankings will be updated each Monday throughout the year. Enjoy!!

1. LSU (6-0)
Great comeback win against Florida and is now the #1 team in my rankings by a ton.

2. California (5-0)
The Golden Bears have to make sure they stay focused, as two of their next three are away from Berkley.

3. Boston College (6-0)
Matt Ryan is quietly having a Heisman like season (1857 yards, 15/5 TD/INT ratio and completion percentage over 60%).

4. South Florida (5-0)
Figured they would struggle a bit with FAU as that was a perfect let-down spot. Bottom line though; they got the win.

5. Ohio St (6-0)
Just dismantled the high-powered Purdue offense and held the Boilermakers to 4 yards rushing. Wow!!

6. South Carolina (5-1)
Very good win by the Head Ball Coach on a national stage. Three of the next four are on the road; including at Tennessee and Arkansas.

7. Oklahoma (5-1)
Got the job done over Texas this week. Not as impressed as the Longhorns still put up 400 yards of offense.

8. Cincinnati (6-0)
Brian Kelly is doing a phenomenal job at Cincy. That defense is stout and the offense is above average. Very interesting match-up this week as the Bearcats take on reeling Louisville.

9. Missouri (5-0)
Absolutely dominated Nebraska. Are the Tigers for real? We’ll find out this week in Norman.

10. West Virginia (5-1)
The Mountaineers creep back into the Top 10 by default. White/Slaton/Devine is still the best running tandem in the nation.

The rest of the best…

11. Oregon (4-1)
12. Hawaii (6-0)
13. Florida (4-2)
14. Virginia Tech (5-1)
15. USC (4-1)
16. Kentucky (5-1)
17. Arizona St (6-0)
18. Illinois (5-1)
19. Kansas (5-0)
20. Wisconsin (5-1)
