Below is a free MLB play with analysis for Monday afternoon:

GIANTS at BREWERS (-120) – 4:10 pm ET #952

Not an official play, but I would rate the Brewers as a light lean this afternoon.

San Francisco comes to Milwaukee after exhausting their bullpen in a 15 inning loss to Colorado late Sunday afternoon. The Giants hope that Jonathan Sanchez can go long enough to give their bullpen a rest. Unfortunately, the left hander averages only 5.9 innings per start. He's 1-1 with a 6.23 ERA in his last three outings while giving up 11 runs and 12 hits in 13 innings of work. Sanchez is 0-1 with a 10.39 ERA in four career starts against Milwaukee. Prince Fielder (4-11), Corey Hart (3-8), Ryan Braun (3-8), Rickie Weeks (2-6), and Casey McGehee (1-3) all have had success against Sanchez. The Brewers have the highest slugging percentage in the N.L. against southpaws so far this season.

Dave Bush gets the start for Milwaukee. He is 2-1 with a 2.33 ERA in his last three starts. The righty has given up just six runs and 19 hits over his last 19.3 innings of work. The Milwaukee starter hasn't faced the Giants since 2007. Aubrey Huff (5-24), Aaron Rowand (2-10) and Travis Ishikawa (0-1) all struggle against Bush. San Francisco is a terrible 16-23 on the road, and aside from an 11 run outburst on Saturday, they haven’t scored over three runs since the 26th of June. San Francisco is in a terrible scheduling spot here, and we expect Milwaukee to take advantage of that and get a solid home win this afternoon.
