Below is a free MLB play with analysis for Tuesday night:

PHILLIES at MARLINS (Under 7 ½, +100) – 7:10 pm ET #955-956

Not an official play, but I would rate the Under as a light lean tonight.

The Marlins will get their fourth look at Roy Halladay this season. So far he is 2-1 with a 1.08 ERA against Florida giving up three runs and 14 hits in 25 innings pitched. The righty has given up just one run and 11 hits over his last 17 innings of work. Cody Ross (2-13), Gaby Sanchez (2-8), Ronny Paulino (1-4), Mike Stanton (0-3), and Hector Luna (0-3) all have poor numbers against the Phillies’ ace. The Marlins are hitting .235 as a team over their last seven games. Philadelphia’s bullpen usually isn't needed for too long when Halladay starts as he has eight complete games already this season.

The Marlins are sending lefty Sean West to the mound for his first outing of the season. He had a 3.12 ERA in Triple-A New Orleans with 46 strikeouts and 19 walks over 57.2 innings pitched. West faced the Phillies last year giving up three earned runs and seven hits in four innings of work. The lefty will face a Phillies lineup without Shane Victorino, Chase Utley, and most likely Ryan Howard who got hurt on Sunday. Even with Howard, Philadelphia is hitting .246 against southpaws going Under in 15 of their 27 games against them. The Phillies are hitting .254 as a team on the road. Six of the eight meetings between these two teams have gone Under the total including all three in Florida, and we expect to see another low-scoring game tonight.
