I really feel the odds makers are way off on this posted total in this spot as the Panthers match up with the Steelers here. Pittsburgh has been well known to keep things close to the vest and has seen the Under go an amazing 16-4 in their last 20 preseason games. Carolina and head coach John Fox also loves to just get this game over with as the Panthers have seen the Under be the right side in the past 4 years for the Panthers. Plus throw in the fact the the Panthers only 2 touchdowns this preseason have come on a kickoff return, and fumble recovery, and you can see how the Under is my strong recommendation here this evening.

Here we will definitely have one team going thru the motions and not wanting to get anyone hurt in their last preseason game here and that's the Falcons. And on the other side of the field we have a coach in Jack Del Rio that feels this game means something and always tries to win it. The Jaguars are a perfect 4-0 in their last preseason over the past 4 years outscoring their opposition by almost a 2-1 ratio 99-50. So let's lay the small number here as the Jaguars roll to another win and spread cover here tonight.

The odds makers definitely tell you the wining side here as they have made the Bengals a 6 point favorite here in Indianapolis. Over the past 4 years in this meaningless preseason game the Bengals have crushed the Colts going 4-0 and outscoring them by a whopping 99-23. Last year in his first year as head coach of the Colts Jim Caldwell sure showed he also didn't care much about this game as the Bengals crushed the Colts 38-7. Plus have to add here that if the sharps thought this was the wrong line they'd be all over it, however as of this writing there has been no Indianapolis action at all. So let's lay this crazy number on the Bengals as they will be the only team playing here this evening.

Next will be a play on the Seahawks as the Raiders are one of those teams that sure doesn't show up in week # 4 of the preseason. Oakland in the past 4 years are a perfect 0-4 both straight up and against the spread. Have to add in here is that all 4 years the Raiders have fallen victim to the Seahawks. With Pete Carroll taking over as their new head coach Seattle has continued to play well this preseason, and I look for them to come away with another win over the Raiders here tonight.

The Golden Eagles have not faired well against SEC teams as of late giving up 66 points in their last 2 encounters, and are on a 2-6 ATS run. Tonight they have to face a Gamecocks squad led by Stephen Garcia who was the second leading passer in the SEC last year. I look for Garcia to have a huge game here against this So. Miss defense that ranked 80th in total yards allowed, and 109th in passing yards. Plus the their rushing attack will be aided by Freshman running back Marcus Lattimore who was highly recruited. While defensively I look for the Gamecocks to again be in the higher echelon of all SEC defenses. This unit last year ranked 15th in total yards allowed, and 8th in passing yards (163) while giving up just 11 touchdown passes. This veteran defense returns 8 starters and I look for this spedy and classy group to totally dominate the Golden Eagles in this spot. South Carolina comes away with the big win and spread cover here tonight.

Last week of the preseason is already here with the season starting next Thursday already. Well the 4th and last week of the preseason has always been a money maker for us thru the years. This year is no exception with 5 big plays on tap We will start off the the Redskins paying a visit to Arizona. With Mike Shananan back as a head coach makes Washington the solid release here as Shananan definitely plays hard to win this last preseason game and is on a 8-1 ATS run, and what a perfect opponent to play as the Cardinals and head coach care less about this game and are a perfect 0-3 over the past 3 years as they wrap things up. So let's take the underdog Redskins here as everything points in their direction.
