Cleveland at Detroit With the way Fausto Carmona and Justin Verlander are pitching right now I look for a very low scoring game here and a solid play on the Under for tonight. Carmona is rounding into form since coming off the DL, in his last 2 starts he has given up only 3 earned runs, and 12 hits in 13 innings pitched. Plus add in the fact that Carmona is 5-1 when starting against the Tigers with an ERA of 2.81 and a WHIP of 1.063, and you can see how Detroit will have problems doing anything offensively here. While Verlander right now is the sharpest I have seen him all season. In his last 2 starts he has been brilliant giving up no earned runs in 12+ innings pitched while striking out 12. So I look for a bunch of goose eggs on the scoreboard here making the Under the highly recommended play for tonight.

With the Phillies gaining a bunch of momentum after last night's big 8 run comeback, have to go with them here as this nice sized underdog as they have won 8 of their last 9 games and qualify perfectly for my Reverse Public system. The public is all over Santana for tonight, but we'll be on the red hot Phillies here.
